declutter, to remove things you don’t need in order to make a space tidier and less crowded, pile up, to increase in number or amount over time, go through, to examine or check something item by item, get rid of, to remove or throw away something you no longer want, mismatched, not matching each other in style, pattern, or color, paperwork, documents and forms that need to be dealt with, often official or admin-related, go into, to be used as part of making or producing something, get a kick out of, to enjoy something a lot, cutlery, knives, forks, and spoons used for eating, out of sight, out of mind, used to say that people easily forget about problems they can’t see, end up, to finally be in a place or situation, especially without planning it, landfill, a place where rubbish is buried under the ground, encourage, to make a behavior or attitude more likely by supporting or approving of it, short-term, lasting only for a limited period, not permanent, quick fix, a simple solution that solves a problem only for a short time, hold on to, to keep something instead of getting rid of it, awareness, knowledge or understanding that something exists or is happening, repurpose, to find a new use for something instead of throwing it away, hoarder, a person who collects and keeps large amounts of things, often unnecessarily, patch up, to repair something, especially in a simple or temporary way, put an end to, to stop something from continuing, take over, to gradually fill or dominate a space, overflow with, to be so full of something that it can’t be contained
