on the tip of my tongue, almost but not quite remembered, a memory like a sieve, a poor practical memory, go in one ear and out the other, very easy to forget, memories are fading, most people have forgotten, keep in mind, remember something important that might be useful later, loose one's train of thought, forget the main point ofwhat someone is talking about, sprang to mind, came quickly into someone’s mind, photographic memory, the ability to remember informationor images in great detail, in living memory, that anyone alive can remember, jog one's memory, help someone to remember, one's mind goes blank, not to be able to remember anything at all, it slipped my mind, I forgot, it rings a bell, is familiar, it's name escapes me, I can’t remember its name, rack one's brain, thinking hard, or making an effort to remember, at the back of one's mind, although someone tries not tothink about it, memories came flooding back, memories suddenly returned, take a trip down memory lane, talk about the past in a happy way, stir up memories, bring back memories, erase the memory of, avoid remembering or thinking about
