THE 312 EMAILS: You come back from a 14-day holiday and find 312 unread emails. Your manager writes, “Hope you had a relaxing break! Could you deal with these by lunchtime?” What do you do?, THE DIGITAL DETOX: You decide to go cold turkey on social media. You manage four days without Instagram, then download it again “just for five minutes”. Three hours later, you're still scrolling. What happened? What would you do differently?, THE HOLIDAY EFFECT: During your holiday you discover that you love waking up naturally, working from cafés, taking long lunches and having no strict schedule. Now you're back in the office and everything feels terrible. Have you simply had a taste of something better, or is your normal life actually the problem?, THE SUNDAY BETRAYAL: It's Sunday evening. You're completely relaxed, watching a film and enjoying the last few hours of your weekend. Suddenly your boss sends: “Don't forget about tomorrow's 9 a.m. meeting.” Your mood immediately changes. What would you do?, THE PERFECT ROUTINE: Your friend decides to completely change their life after a holiday: wake up at 5 a.m., exercise every day, meditate for an hour, stop using social media and never eat sugar again. Three days later, they're exhausted and scrolling at 2 a.m. What went wrong?, THE MONDAY BRAIN: You sit down to work but can't concentrate. You make coffee, reorganise your desktop, check the weather, clean your inbox and choose a new playlist. After 90 minutes, you realise you haven't actually done any work. What should you do?, THE PROMOTION: You get a promotion with more money, more interesting work and more responsibility. Six months later, you have almost no free time. You have got a taste of success, but you're now paying the price. Would you still accept the promotion?, THE TRAVEL ADDICT: Your friend comes back from a holiday and immediately starts planning another trip. Two weeks later, they're talking about moving abroad. Is this healthy curiosity, itchy feet, or dissatisfaction with their normal life?, THE PERFECT WEEKEND: You have an amazing weekend with no responsibilities, no deadlines and no alarm clock. On Sunday evening you suddenly think, “Why can't life always be like this?” Has the weekend made you happier, or has it simply made normal life seem worse?, THE ULTIMATE RETURN: You've just returned from a month-long sabbatical. You have three choices: A) work 10 hours on Monday and catch up immediately; B) work a shorter day and gradually return to your routine; C) take another day off because you're not mentally ready. Which option would you choose and why?
