A teacher, To Protect Someone-The teacher knew that a student was involved and tried to prevent them from getting into trouble., To Prevent A Secret From Being Discovered-The missing object or message could reveal something the teacher wanted to keep private., To Teach Someone A Lesson- The teacher secretly moved or hid something to teach students about responsibility, honesty or teamwork., Stage 5: Suspect — 3. A security guard, To Protect The Building- The guard moved something because they believed it was unsafe or needed to be protected., To Hide A Mistake- They failed to notice something important and tried to cover up their mistake., To Help Someone Get Away- The guard knew what had happened but was protecting someone they cared about., Stage 5: Suspect — 4. A visitor, To Find Something Valuable- The visitor was searching for an object they believed belonged to them or their family., To Discover A Secret- They had come to the location because they knew something mysterious was hidden there., To Prove Something- They wanted to prove that an old story, rumour or accusation was true., Stage 5: Suspect — 5. A student who was seen nearby, To Get Attention- They wanted everyone to notice them or become famous for solving the mystery., To Help A Friend- They became involved because a friend was in trouble and they wanted to protect them., To Get Something Back- They believed something had been taken from them and decided to take matters into their own hands., Stage 5: Suspect — 6. Someone who appears completely innocent, To Protect Someone- They knew who was responsible but deliberately hid the truth to protect another person., To Hide Their Own Secret- They seemed helpful because they were trying to prevent the detective from discovering something about them., To Control The Investigation- They secretly caused the mystery and then offered to help solve it so they could control what the detective discovered.
