Reliable  - Can it be carried out in consistent conditions and repeated at a later date?, Accurate - does it provide a true reflection of the performer, Measurable - Can comparisons be made at a later date? Can you compare to National norms, Practical - Is it easy to understand/ carry out? Can you easily identify strengths and weaknesses within your performance, Valid - Is it non- bias, does it produce a consistent result irrespective of the participant completing it., The Cooper test is a measurable data collection - It is a standardised national test which means that I can compare my score to National norms, I chose to use the General Observation sheet because I can identify strengths and weaknesses - As is simple to understand. As a result of this, I am now able to create a training programme to develop my weakness.,
