It refracts th elight which turns the image we see upside down., cornea - the transparent coating which covers the eye and protects the iris and pupil at the front of the eye., sciera - the white part of the eye., retina - contains millions of phototreceptors which convert light into electrical impulses which are sent along the optic nerve to the brain., Optic nerve - sends signals representing colour, ligh and dark from the eye to the brain which interprets what we see.,
