Can be a visible line, or created using the line or shadow of an object,, Hyperbole - Describing a situation in overblown language., Point of view - The ways in which a narrator might take a role of first or third person, having full knowledge or restriced in knowledge of events, reliable or unreliable interpretation of what happens., Salience - How the viewer’s eye is drawn to what is important in an image., Visual language  - Choices that contribute to the meaning of an image or the visual components of a multimodal text and are selected from a range of visual features., Narrative - A story of events or experiences, real or imagined., Framing - A way in which elements in a still or moving image are arranged to create a specific interpretation of a whole., Colloquial language - Slang words that appeal to a person’s sense of cultural identity., Alliteration - A recurrence of the same consonant sounds at the beginning of words in close succession., Figurative language - Word groups/phrases used in a way that differ from the expected or everyday use. Used in a non-literal way for a particular effect., Body language - Movements or positions of a body, which express a person’s thoughts or feelings., Symbols - Used as shortcuts to represent ideas or concepts., Colour - Used to express and develop ideas in images. Use of colour can be symbolic and choice of colour in an image can be used to represent feelings and mood., Context - The environment and circumstances in which a text is created or interpreted. Can include the general social, historical and cultural conditions in which a text exists or the specific features of its immediate environment., Imagery - A use of figurative language to represent objects, actions and ideas in such a way that they appeal to the senses of the reader or viewer.,
