Review the Q&A process., Set the ground rules, Before you start the Q&A, set these ground-rules: one question per person: ask questions rather than state opinions. If anyone breaks these rules, then politely remind them., Thank the person for the question, This gives you time to process the question so you can give a good answer. It also helps you appear calm and confident., Paraphrase the question, This allows you to confirm you've understood the question and also make sure the rest of the audience has heard the question. This will help you avoid a dialogue with one person., Answer the question, Address the entire audience when you answer, not only the person who answered the question., Confirm you have answered, 'Does that answer your question?' This brings the question to a close in a calm and confident way.
