To give and to be generous are attributes of Mine: well is it with him that adorneth himself with My virtues., Be generous in prosperity, and thankful in adversity., Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed., A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return., The Prophet (Muhammad) was asked: “Which charity is best? ” he replied “that which you give while you fear poverty.”, And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased., Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys., Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.
