The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education is expanding rapidly, bringing both opportunities and challenges for educators and students., This study analyses the impacts of AI on student learning experiences and teaching practices in higher education institutions., An online survey of 500 students and 200 faculty members was conducted across 15 universities in the United Kingdom., The findings reveal that while AI enhances personalised learning and administrative efficiency, it also raises concerns about data privacy and the dehumanisation of education., The study concludes that integrating AI thoughtfully into higher education requires balancing innovation with ethical considerations to foster effective learning environments.
