For example, name = "Peter", Integer, A whole number, e.g. 252., Float, A decimal number. For example, 12.872, String, A sequence of characters, e.g. "Peter". Note that speech marks " " are added when assigning a string to a variable, Boolean, True/False, Yes/No, On/Off, 1/02, Constant, A variable that stores a data value that does not change when the program runs, e.g. pi = 3.144.
