Influenza Vaccine, Inactivated: 6mo + annually unless high risk , Live attenuated (IN): given to 2-50 yrs , Live attenuated is not given to pts >2yrs or <17 yrs on aspirin or asthmatic , not given to, <6mo, allergic to the vaccine or eggs, has recovered from Guillain-Barré , Haemophilus Type B, for all children < 5 yrs old , SERIES: 2, 4, 6, 12-15 months, Not recommended for children >5 unless with certain medical conditions , RSV, USE: prevent lower respiratory tract disease cause by RSV, Route: IM, before season (fall/winter), adults >60 , 1 dose of maternal vaccine at 32-36 weeks; sep-jan, Palivizumab Monoclonal Antibody, MOA: provides passive immunity against RSV , USE: preventing RSV infection in high-risk children <2, NOT a vaccine , High-risk pts: Chronic lung disease, premature >32 wks, congenital heart defects, neuromuscular disease, congenital abnormalities of the airway , MMR , USE: protects against, measles, mumps, and rubella, Contraindicated in pregnancy , DO NOT administer within 4 weeks of any other live vaccine, Children receive two doses: 12-25 months and 4-6 years, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis , In other words, it protects against lockjaw, respiratory infection, and whooping cough, Tdap: older children and adults , DTap: children under 7 (2, 4, 6, 12-15 months, 4-6 yrs), Tdap: Pregnancy 27-36 weeks during EACH pregnancy .
