Step 1 - Consultation and visual checks to ascertain client information and check for contra-indications and gain client’s signature., Step 2  - Sanitise and prepare the hands/feet and natural nail plate by shaping the free edge using a 120 nail file​, Step 3  - Use cuticle remover and cuticle tool to gently push back and remove the true cuticle – nippers can be used if necessary​, Step 4 - Use a lint-free wipe and cleansing product to remove debris and ask client to wash hands/feet​, Step 5 - Gently etch the natural nail plate to help eliminate natural oils using a buffing/sanding block and remove debris​, Step 6 - Apply primer/ dehydrator coat to all nails ​, Step 7 - Apply base coat to finger/toe nails and cure for 40 seconds (check manufacturer’s instructions) under the LED lamp, Step 8 - Repeat step on other hand/foot​, Step 9 - Apply gel polish coat to finger/toe nails and cure for 40 seconds (check manufacturer’s instructions) under the LED lamp ​, Step 10 - Repeat this step on other hand/foot, Step 11 - Apply top coat to finger/toe nails and cure for 40 seconds (check manufacturer’s instructions) under the LED lamp ​, Step 12 - Repeat step on other hand/foot, Step 13  - Using a lint-free wipe and gel polish remover, wipe over the nail plates to remove the sticky layer, Step 14  - Apply cuticle oil​, Step 15  - Give homecare/aftercare and rebook maintenance/re-polish​,
