Bubble - A type of sort that compares 2 items at a time and swaps if needed, Linear - Searching through a list, one at a time, starting at the front., Merge - A special sort algorithm that divides a list up into seperate items and them merges the groups back together in order, Algorithm - A sequence of steps to solve a problem, Decision - The diamond shape in a flowchart used when there is a question, Rectangle - The shape used in a flowchart when there is a process, Binary - A search algorithm that is faster than linear. It divides the list into 2, compares and then removes., Bucket - Similar to bubble sort, but first items are sorted in to categories and then each catagory is bubble sorted, Oval - A flowchart must always start and stop with this shape,
