Generally speaking, the majority of people in Britain go on package holidays abroad to destinations like the Bahama Islands, the Costa del Sol or the Balearic Islands, for instance., For such tourists, the hot sunny weather is obviously a major attraction and a further advantage is the cost., In fact, a holiday in Portugal or Spain can be cheap, even though it is over 1,500 kilometres away., But sadly, most tourists, who choose to go there, see very little of the countries. They focus on the beach, hotel and airport., However, a holiday in Britain, on the other hand, can be much more expensive. And, in addition, the weather can be awful., Another problem is that public transport in the UK is often very pricey and crowded., In spite of these disadvantages, the language is no problem and some parts of Britain are truely beautiful, What could be more lovely than the British coastline in spring?, All things considered, holidays abroad and in Britain both have their advanatges and disadvanatges.
