Three weird witches plot and spin their spells. They plan to meet Macbeth upon the heath., Macbeth and Banquo fight Norwegian invaders and find themselves alone on the heath after the battle., As Macbeth and Banquo head to King Duncan's camp, they spot the three weird sisters., The witches greet Macbeth and Banquo. They tell Macbeth that he is the Thane of Cawdor and that he will be King one day., The witches tell Banquo that he will never be king but his children will., The witches disappear into the mist., Macbeth and Banquo reach Duncan's camp and are told that Macbeth is now Thane of Cawdor - just like the witches predicted., Duncan says that his son Malcom will be the next king. This worries Macbeth. Duncan then tells Macbeth that he intends to visit him and Lady Macbeth in their castle at Dunsanine., We meet Lady Macbeth - who is cruel and determined. She will do whatever it takes to make her husband King of Scotland..
