Be specific. Is this a strength?, What three character traits would your friends use to describe you? - Often times when people have to speak on behalf of others, they are more honest and accurate. Questions regarding how others portray you and what they think about you can be more insightful than self-reflection., Have you ever been on a team where someone was not pulling their own weight? How did you handle it? - Do you pick up the slack? Do you say something to that person? Do you gossip or report them to your supervisor? An employer wants to understand how you’re going to interact with others., How would you go about establishing your credibility quickly with the team? - Provide an example! Talk about how you have done this in the past! Think about the company and who you will be working with; what are their expectations?, Please share with us what diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you and why they’re important. - You will be asked a question related to DEI in every interview. Employers want to know that you grasp the true meaning of each term and that you share a commitment to fostering them in the workplace., Tell me about yourself. - Looking for something creative here! Give 2-3 APPROPRIATE THINGS you like to do., Why have you switched jobs so many times? - Sometimes employers get worried if you move jobs often. It's okay to explain the circumstances that led to your moves, but keep it professional and dont bash previous employers., What is your availability? Are you able to work weekends and evenings? - If you never are willing to work weekends but you are in school all week, that is not going to leave you with many options, so be flexible but realistic when answering this., Are you a team player? - Even if this is something that you struggle with, the answer should be that you are willing to work in a team! Employers want to see that you can try to work with others., Describe your best/worst boss. - if you are asked a question like this, make sure you are being professional. Be honest but don't be rude!, Do you have bad mental health or a disability? - Employers cannot legally ask you this- although they can ask you if you need accommodations. ,
