White blood cells learn about the pathogen and try to produce antibodies to kill it., Disease - Is a failure or disruption of homeostasis - the body is sick, the body is unstable, Virus - a nonliving pathogen that only consists of genetic material. It needs to infect a host cell to reproduce., Bacteria - living microorganisms. Most are good, but a small number cause disease. They have cell walls but do not have a nucleus. , HIV - an autoimmune disease that attacks and kills the white blood cells of the immune system.
