Honestly, I think all this talk about living to 100 is just ridiculous. I mean, my grandma lived to be 95, but she was always worried about what she ate and never enjoyed her life. Sometimes I feel like it's better to just live in the moment instead of obsessing over every little thing you put in your body., I'm all for the rainbow diet! I started eating more colorful fruits and veggies a couple of years ago, and I've felt so much better. Last summer, I picked fresh berries from a local farm and made smoothies every morning. I really believe those choices help me stay healthy and could definitely help me reach 100!, I don't really know where I stand on this longevity thing. On one hand, it sounds great to live long, but on the other, I see my uncle who's over 80 and has so many health issues. I guess it just depends on what kind of life you're living as you age. I'm kind of torn between wanting to enjoy life now and hoping to live longer., Oh man, thinking about living to 100 is so emotional for me! My mom passed away at 68, and I wish she could have experienced more of life. I often think about how precious every moment is. If eating a rainbow diet means I can cherish more memories with my family and friends, then I'm all in!.
