1) Jimmy hid 65 stolen items in the filing cabinets across college. If he hid the same number of items in each filing cabinet, how many items does each cabinet hide? 2) We need to tape off a crime scene in the corridor leading to the music room. Go measure its perimeter, and its area.  3) Jimmy hid a clue behind items with 2 lines of symmetry. Find 6 items could be  4) One of Jimmy's associates can't resist a cup of coffee. Go round college and ask staff how many coffees they drink a day. Put this information on a line graph 5) We need to re-create Jimmy's footsteps as part of our investigation. Find a corridor, and time how long it takes each member of your team to walk to one end, then back again (time both separately). What's the mode, median, mean and range of your numbers?  6) Jimmy has laced the college milk supply with illicit liquor! Go find the volume of a milk carton in the fridge. If 25% of it is liquor, how much fluid is that? 7) A camera records for 6 minutes, then takes a 2-minute break, then starts again. How many full recording cycles will it complete in 40 minutes? 8) Jimmy was last spotted running south east from the music room. Where did he end up? 9) Of all the cups in the kitchen cupboard, Jimmy weakened the handles on the white ones. What % of all the mugs did he sabotage?! 10) Slipping Jimmy once swapped out college's clock for a rigged one — ran ten minutes fast, just enough to ruin alibis. Measure the diameter of the classroom clock face to see if it matches the one he used. Work out the radius… then calculate the circumference. Maybe you’ll find out how he pulled it off.
